Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Since all the babies are now here with us, I decided that we are overdue for a recap of who are the big winners with the arrival date guessing:
Going chronologically, we have Ashlyn Kendall that decided to join us three weeks early on the 8th of October. Visiting the guesses page, we can see that Aunt Joan and I both guessed the 25th of October. I'll gladly share the honors with Aunt Joan on this one.
Next, Connor Boyd was coerced into showing up on the 1st of November. There is a real log jam in the winners circle with Aunt Joan, Beck, Kimberly, and me.
Last but not least, Hallie Rose jumping the gun and making everyone's guess look bad. The earliest guesses we have for her are the 14th of December by Nicole and me. Anybody starting to notice a trend here?!? It is starting to look as if I have cheated somehow.
A quick perusal of the suggested names shows that Aunt Joan is the clear winner. Although "Adelheide" was not used this time around, it is clearly in the running for future use. Well, that and Magnus, of course!
Thanks to Chuck and Eric for keeping us updated on their families. Eric has been most diligent in making sure we have pictures to see. You can go straight to the Heaton gallery here.
I just put up some new photos of Alia and Ashlyn in our November album. I also included a little video clip. It is largish so make sure you are on a fast internet connection before downloading ;) Alia is very funny these days as her little vocabulary starts to take off. It is really cute when she says thanks... even in the right context!
And before I end this lengthy post, I put up two new pictures that Grandma sent of Jake and Nan. I put those up in Nan's gallery.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Hello Everyone...we had another photo op. for our kids with a lady in our ward who owns a nice digital camera. We thought that these pictures were cute and wanted to share them. We miss you all so much! Happy Thanksgiving!!

At 5:30 p.m. on November 1st, 2004 we welcomed Connor Boyd Helquist into mortality. He weighed in at a sizeable 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 21 inches long. Mother and baby are very fine. Dad is recuperating slowly, but surely. As of 7:00 p.m. tonight (Nov. 2nd) mother and baby are safe at home.
