Ballet Swan Pictures

Greetings everyone,

We have posted some new pictures and a video clip from Alia's dance rehearsal and recital. I just mashed some bits and pieces together so don't expect anything fancy. Also, it gets a tad long at the end (a lot of standing around) so feel free to fast forward or hit the close button early! It is large so if you are on dialup you probably don't want to try and pick it up. Oh, and you will need Quicktime to watch the movie.

I do have some sad news to report. I don't like to follow happy news (the safe arrival of Britton) with this but it must be done... the Popeyes by our house is out of business. I am still trying to come to terms with it but I should be okay in a week or two.

Trip to Utah

Hi everyone! There are some new pictures online from the trip to Utah, thanks to Mike and his snazzy new camera. Mike put up some pictures in his gallery and I put up some similar ones in the family gallery.

It was a very fun week and we certainly missed those of us living on the other side of the world! More fun to come in July.

Ashlyn has recently discovered how to open the child-proof locks on our cabinets and drawers, much to Julie's chagrin. Ashlyn is so proud of her newfound skills. I was taking a shower and she walked into the bathroom. She proceeded straight to Julie's bathroom cabinet (her favorite play area now) and opened the cabinet as far as the locks would permit. She then shot me a smug little glance. She then looked back at the cabinet and in one fell swoop unlocked the cabinet, swinging it wide open. Another smug glance followed as she revelled in being able to peruse the contents of the cabinet while I was stuck in the shower. The smirk on her face was priceless.
