Blizzard - Tucson Style
Well, I have now seen just about everything. I was waiting for my flight to Ontario, CA last night when it started snowing at the Tucson airport. Very, very strange. My flight was delayed some then eventually canceled after they informed us that they couldn't de-ice the plane. I would imagine they don't need de-icing equipment very often in Tucson. All flights were canceled last night as the snow came down. So, now my trip is postponed until next Sunday.
I tried to take a photo using the wimpy camera on my phone of a tree just outside the airport. However, it doesn't do justice to the huge snowflakes that were coming down. It looked like something I had seen numerous times while snowboarding at Brighton. In case you can't really make it out, all the fuzzy stuff are snow flakes and that tree is completely covered in snow. I guess they have started passing out parkas down below.
Just as a friendly reminder, we need more participation from everyone on the baby pool page. It won't be much fun if nobody enters and I win in a landslide.

Heaton Christmas 2006
