So it isn't Roscoe after all...
After much thinking, frustration, and staring at the wee man, an executive decision was finally made: Soren Saysette Helquist.
We like the Scandinavian-ness of the name (since Julie was so set against Magnus!). I'm not sure Julie knows this but some googling says the name is derived from Thor. Excellent. I already know what his nickname will be. ;) Nothing like naming your child after the god of war.
He has developed a bit of jaundice that will hopefully clear up quickly. I need to see how the video turned out... sometime. In the meantime, here are some additional pictures:

Roscoe is here
Okay, it won't be Roscoe but he's here after two short contractions. 6 pounds 13 ounces. 19.5 inches long. 3:20pm. Mom and baby are doing well and should be home Wednesday. Julie is once again a professional baby deliverer.
