Trip to Sundance

Last Wednesday, I took Alia up to Sundance for her first ski lesson. I wasn't sure what to expect. Since it was warm and slushy, she received a private lesson for the price of a group lesson! I created a monster, though. She was immediately asking when we could go back. Yesterday, I took Ashlyn up for her first lesson and Alia had her second. Both ended up getting private lessons as well. Ashlyn's teacher put a pink tiara on her helmet and some necklaces around her neck. She was in heaven. Nan and Jacob were also there zooming around the mountain. It was a lot of fun.

Here is a photo of the girls just before their lessons started:

Here is a shot I took while sitting on the (super slow) lift:

It was a glorious day. After the girls got out of their lessons, we had time to take one last trip down the mountain. I was quite nervous since I don't even know how to ski and the girls were still trying to figure it out. Once we got sorted out off the lift (which had both girls in piles and me trying to throw them out of the way), we had a very fun trip. It was a lot of fun seeing the girls follow each other down the mountain. Well, mostly fun... until Alia starting complaining (loudly) that we were going too slow.

Three (low quality) clips from my phone during last run of the day. Very shaky cam ahead - take your Dramamine:

They have both been asking all day when we are going back.

Soren updates and videos

Soren celebrated his 10 month birthday not long ago. At his dr appointment, he clocked in at the 73rd percentile for height and the 7th percentile for weight. That's my boy.

His hair is still delightfully all up all the time. The front is sadly starting to slowly make its way toward mother earth. He is always the hit of church.

Here are four videos taken over the last few months. Photos will be coming soon-ish.
